WPC Issues Environmental Sustainability Statement

As a part of an industry that is committed to preserving the earth's natural resources for future generations, Wisconsin Packaging Corporation (WPC) strives to produce a cleaner, "greener" end product. New Products:

WPC Introduces Aqua Board

Following extensive testing and trials with a wax alternative material, WPC introduced Aqua Board, a corrugated board solution that that performs exceedingly well in the most challenging of moist conditions.

"Aqua Board is from a renewable resource, and is repulpable, compostable, and biodegradable," explains Fred Negus Jr., president, Wisconsin Packaging Corp. "Customers get packaging that meets Sustainability guidelines being set by major retailers."

New Equipment:

1. Two-headed Taper Gluer for Two-piece Boxes from Corrugated Gear
Features of the new general taper gluer include: Capable of joining two-piece boxes in blanks totaling up to 380 inches in one pass. Uses reinforced tape, hot melt glue and cold glue. Boxes can be joined at speeds up to 1000 per hour. Set-ups are done via a PLC in 2-3 minutes.
2. JUPITER Vacuum Transfer Equipped Rotary Die Cutter from TECASA USA
TECASA is a premier manufacturer and supplier of converting equipment to the corrugated industry worldwide. Continuing in the tradition of manufacturing and supplying products of superior quality, TECASA has developed the JUPITER. The 66 inch die cutter line with vacuum transfer system is modern, versatile and reliable. The high performance JUPITER is designed for quick and easy set-up. It also reduces scrap and improves register and printing quality.
3. STARPRINT II Fully Automatic Flexo Folder Gluer from TECASA USA
A premier manufacturer and supplier of converting equipment to the corrugated industry worldwide, TECASA created a new generation range of flexo folder gluers developed with vacuum transfer along the line. This 51 inch full automatic machine is designed to meet the growing demand for improved graphic capabilities.
